Leading Change™

Change isn’t new. It’s been happening since time immemorial. The only difference between now and 100 years ago is that change is happening at an unprecedented speed. Where an innovation used to take years, perhaps decades, to take root, it now happens within days and sometimes hours. For a start-up, that’s good news. But for a legacy business (which could be a 5-year-old company these days), the speed of change can be frightening.

Program Overview

In times of uncertainty, storytelling becomes a competitive advantage—humanizing data, inspiring buy-in, and making ideas more relatable. It motivates teams, clarifies purpose, and helps customers and stakeholders connect with the meaning behind the numbers. In Powerful Storytelling & Cut Through Communication™, participants learn to align communication goals, articulate ideas clearly, and engage in persuasive, two-way conversations to drive business results.

Leading Change helps leaders appreciate the mindset shift required to be successful in the new business environment. It advocates setting a compelling vision of the future and laying out what success looks like for employees. On top of this, the program teaches how to build the right foundation – and how it increases the sustainability of changes implemented.

  • Translate macro-organisational change plans into operational department, business unit and team plans.

  • Understand the mindset needed to manage themselves and others across the change journey, relating individual department needs to macro change plans and recognising the reasons why some people are resistant to change.

  • Understand the types of change implementation plans and focus on the 5 areas of highest priority in a change situation, and gain the necessary knowledge and perspective to lead teams through change and bridge gaps.

  • Recognise how best to organise the resources required to effectively roll out changes.
  • Create a coaching framework of gaps and practical next steps for them to take action.
  • Recognise the internal and external environments that can affect change programmes.

  • Learn how to recognise the opportunities for innovation that change creates, and how best to capitalise on these opportunities—as well as any blockers that may hinder their adoption.

  • Produce some simple benchmarks against which their success can be assessed.
